Billie Holiday has been a huge influence in my life since I was a child, her music had so much soul that it inspired me to follow my own passions. I started this particular project around the end of 2019 but didn’t finish the original version until 2020. As is pretty typical with digital work, I went back and retouched the original painting due to my own dissatisfaction.
